Join us for a 60 minute lecture where world class game analyst, San Diego native and Backgammon Grandmaster Frank Frigo explains the science behind PR Development and improvement. You will come away with a fresh mindset for tournament play and tactics to take your play to the next level.

SINGLE DAY INTERMEDIATE EVENT

Now, a newly structured single day event for intermediates with busy schedules. We know your time is valuable and want you to experience the thrill of a live backgammon tournament. Starting Saturday at 10 AM, we will host a fast-paced, double elimination, ABT ranked event for Division 3 (players who play above a 12 PR average). We will use clock controls to ensure that the tournament is finished in a day.

SURFS UP SPEEDGAMMON

Join us for the best in SpeedGammon. We will host a single hour intense lightning round single elimination Speedgammon tournament. Players will have 2 minute clocks and 6 second delay. Baffles, clocks and checkers will be flying. Win one, advance to the next round. 5 point matches.

BEACH BOARDWALK BACKGAMMON

We’ll be hosting an informal get together at nearby Coronado Beach Pier. We’ll have a food truck and true San Diego vibes. $20 per ticket and you’ll have food, drink and transportation pool. Enjoy the waves, sunset, and some beverages. We’ll be hosting a few friendly chouettes.
